Imagination versus boredom

G'day JustinO,

Here's a vid about one kid's most exciting day, and how imagination can be such a blessing.

Like many things one sees at this time of the year, this tends to put the simple blessings of life in their true perspective.

Awww! My heart goes out for this little one. His imagination takes me back to the time when I was his age to exercise the same type of mindset. I grew up with very few toys, my Parents simply could not afford to give me the latest popular gadgets. So, I did as this little guy did, create my own world, dig in the dirt, build roads and houses, played with model cars and could keep myself occupied for hours! Bless his little heart, it's a shame that there are those that sometimes spoil it (like the disgruntled, grumpy little girl) and make you feel less than that which you can be. I'd of like to see him say back to her 'Bite Me!' ...just cause you can't think of anything! ...not the kindness of heart in retort, but one has to stand up for himself and not let others rain on his parade.
