That inspired me to check on the seven deadly (cardinal) sins, and sex is not among them...
...wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony.
I've long believed that sex gets certain people's knickers in a knot because it's too close to basic animal behavior, from which humans are desperate to dissociate themselves. Humans desperately wanna believe they're a separate species.
