A Personal Message from J&D

For those of you who have been following our career, first of all, 'thank you'. Most of you know the amazing journey that we've shared together over these past nine years of touring.  We have made so many wonderful friends and we've had the opportunity to travel the world.

Over the past few years we have been touring less and making plans to begin our family.  On May 15th deMarco and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary and one week later, we welcomed our sons, Mason and Noah in to our lives on May 23, 2011 at 2:30PM.
Noah and Mason
The boys were born beautiful, healthy, fraternal twins and they came home with us in three days!  Needless to say, the past month has been a whirlwind, but we are treasuring each and every moment.  We have a few concerts planned for this summer and then plan to continue traveling approximately one weekend per month so keep an eye on our tour schedule at
We'd like to thank everyone for your prayers, gifts, well wishes and support! This has truly been a life-changing experience.  Many of you have asked if we have registered anywhere for the babies and the answer is yes!  We are registered at and our registry is under the name "Jason Warner".  If you choose you can also make a donation to our non-profit "SAFE" (Safe, Affirming, Family Environment) on the twins behalf by visiting"

The Safe Spot - Houston
The Safe Spot opened in January 2011 and in less than six months we have the following results:
  • Over 300 youth and young adults served
  • 180 registered members of the Safe Spot
  • 21 clients housed
  • 5 clients enrolled in college in the Fallsafespotlogo01 3
  • 4 clients enlisted in the military
We have outgrown our space and need your help expanding into a larger space.  Consider getting involved ( and being a part of this very important community outreach.

We don't have July 4 in Oz. Well, we do, but without the fireworks.

But we do have Christmas dinner in July. Christmas in Oz is in mid summer, so quite a few restaurants have Christmas dinner with all the trimmings during July because it's winter. Make sense? It doesn't have to. This is Oz.

BTW, today's mid-winter forecast where I live in Taree on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales is fine and sunny with a max of 21C (about 70F).

Gary, I wrote that comment before I realized that most of us on the Dunes do not live in the United States. (Those who do all the talking/typing).

It's humid here in the north of Boston. And over 80 degrees farenheit during the day. Not the best weather for me.
