Good morning, EveryOne. . . .
Here is a special request from one of the family in Provincetown for VERNON getting ready for or already in open heart surgery. . .Here is what I've just read from Stephen, also of P'town. . ..
Hi Justin,
Lady Di posted this on her Facebook at midnight.
"Ok .. on my way to Cape Cod Hospital at 5 AM this morning for open
heart surgery .. will do just fine .. look forward to this venture and
coming back home and healing to get back to WOMR-WFMR and back to work
ASAP. "
The pre -op procedures can be several hours, so I don't think she will
be in surgery until 8 am at the earliest. More likely 9 or 10 am, and
it is a 2 to 4 hour operation, so I think the critical time is around
10 am until 2. I don't know if you've seen Vernon (Lady Di) lately,
but he is pretty round, so there is a higher risk for stroke during or
after a surgery like this. Infection is always a risk as well.
Thanks for thinking about her and your prayers, and anyone else that
you might pass this on to. You know she also does a lot of marriage
ceremonies here as an officiant, most of course for same sex couples
and has done a lot for the community.
I told her, as my father often liked to say, to "keep the faith".
Take care Justin,
Stephen
We are asking you to join in sending healing thoughts, vibes, prayers - however we may perceive supporting someone in real need. I see doing this, in my words 'praying for someone' as surrounding him with love. . .care and concern. . . I also believe in a group of us all doing this at the same time as really powerful "in the sight of God and Man". . . .Love is an energy, a force within us, one which ties us all together. . .like the "collective unconscious" or "the collective consciousness" coming together for a member of our larger family.
In charity and fellowship would you please reach out to Vernon right now and maybe the rest of the morning keep him and the surgical team "gentle on our mind". . .? Send your love to Cape Cod Hospital. . . .c/o the Spirit. . . .;-)
All the best to All Y'All. . . .
