We had thought that we'd leave for Canada right after Mass on Sunday. . . .but we allowed Gram to coax us back home for lunch. . . .and then. . ..well . . . .one thing led to another and after all "we were tired." . . .and so forth. So we decided to wait until Monday to head North. . .lol. . . .No on had to twist our arms. It was just great to kick back and chill out and just hang out "at home". . .. without the need to do anything. . . .
We did follow our resolve and headed out "at a reasonable hour" Monday morning and had a good trip to La Belle Provence. The guys at Canadian Customs were total "gents". . . polite and friendly even. . .LOL Weather was good, awesome sunshine and warm temps. We were crossing the Jacques Cartier Bridge onto the Island of Montreal around 3 o'clock. Not much trouble finding Bob's home; clear directions. He lives on the second floor of his building and the stairs up are on the outside of the building, to the second flood porch. . . ..metal stairwell, painted Dutch blue, really cool as hell. . . .hehe. . ..and I bet they are really COOL in a Quebec Winter!. . . ..esp after an ice storm. hahaahaaa. . . ..
Out of the darkness has arisen a voice. . ."Shut that thing off and come to bed. . I can't get to sleep until you get quiet and settle in!"
Okay, , , OK. . . .on my way. So I am done. hahaaa...and joining my man to sleep. . . . I guess. . . ..ho ho ho. . .Nite ALL Y'ALL, ;-)
Justin and Sleepy Pierre. . . . ;-) <wink> <wink>

I see. So now I know who's in charge.
Canadian customs were total gents but wait until you try to enter the states.
Enjoy your vacation.
In charge? No one. . . but we each have our "areas of expertise" hahahaaa
And . . communication IS about expressing our real needs and desires so that the other doesn't need to guess or wonder or assume. .presume. .
Much more conducive for creative and productive civil interactions. . .n'est-ce pas ;-)
YES, Stew, so I have heard. . .you are treated as if in fact one was a notoriously known, proven, tired and convicted felon!
I do not have a RIGHT to enter a foreign country. I DO have a RIGHT to return home, to my native land with all the rights and privileges of an American citizen. . . .Talk about "The Ugly American"! They are employed by customs and immigration. . with side arms!
Welcome to Canada! Enjoy your visit to Montreal.
And thanks for the warning re US customs people! I'll have to be on my best behavior and keep my mouth shut to only answer what is asked....I'm nervous already!!!
