I thought the vote was scheduled for a couple of weeks ago and the freakin thing just died. I agree with the tone of this article. Repealing gay marriage isn't popular up there so no one knows what will happen. It's the bigots wailing and nashing their teeth.
Did anyone expect they'd just be quiet?

I sent a message about this to a gay buddy of mine who ran for the NH house of reps last time around (and lost). He hasn't circulated anything on the issue for a couple weeks.

So when do we just stop all of this and repeal marriage all together?
It is an antiquated idea.

Now that's what I call an interesting idea, Stew... something out of left field.

J might not agree though... he'd have to take a pay cut.

Think of the multi businesses connected to marriage. . . the all-powerful god of business and life success - m o n e y - -it will be a cold day in Hell when "the world, the flesh and the devil" would ever think of cutting their financial throats! The legal profession likely reaps the least from the marriage business.

You know the "Price of Death" and all the trappings that go with it.
That is a mere fraction of the cost of a wedding.

Last summer one of the distant O'Shea cousins married off a daughter. A nice, small, family wedding. Gossip has it that the parents shelled out $15 Grand for flowers. . alone! That's just a 'diet sized' slice of the Wedding Cake!

Careful Stew Duude. . .the Wedding Planners will run you off onto the non-ice of Lake Michigan. LOL And that is just one branch of the financial wedding world. LOL

Hey, I saw yesterday that at O'Hare International in Chicago it was 55* in late afternoon!. . .with devastating storms all around them. United coming in from Beijing had no probs landing. . just a 15 minute minor delay at 5.30pm. hehe

Hey. . .didja ever price a wedding gown? hahahahahaaa. . .a queen's ransom. . .hehe

bye. . .

According to my buddy, the marriage repeal doesn't have enough votes. I figured as much. If it doesn't pass the NH house of reps and make in into the (state) senate by the end of March, it dies. Cross your fingers.

Justin, why are you watching flights from China? Is it a point about mail order brides? or grooms?
