A bit too geometrically rigid, JustinO... needs a bit of informality. Check this pic of three pears and study it for a few minutes.

Love the Orchid and the vase/pitcher.

Thanks, Mr Photographer. ;-) I am partial to the Chinese pitcher and think the orchid looks splendid with it. This one is holding up well. . .guess I hit the correct karma.. .?
even in 'my rigidity'. .. hehe

It's a nice pitcher of a beautiful picture Ehhh wait... I think that needs correcting. {-: Is the p-i-t-c-h-e-r a genuine antique?

YES, Gary. I see what you mean immediately. There is a fluidity in lines. . .and my fingertips feel the color of the spotted pears. . .

Coops, it is a genuine pitcher made in China. . . .that is how 'antique' it is. . . lol

Would I lie to you, JustinO? Yes, fluidity, placing objects off center, and using sharp and soft focus.

However, I'm certainly not Mr Photographer. I am a keen observer of the work of good photographers. My trouble is trying to remember what I've observed when it's my turn to click the shutter.
