"The heart is the place where we live our passions. It is frail and easily broken, but wonderfully resilient. There is no point in trying to deceive the heart. It depends upon our honesty for its survival." - Leo Buscaglia. . . . ..via Michael, gaytwogether.com

This quote is fantastic! Leo Buscaglia was a 'guru' for us teachers back in the 70's. All of us were signing up for conferences that he was 'key-noting'.
Just a little tidbit from the eastern shore of Nova Scotia!
Yes, wonderfully resilient. I suffered a heart attack back in 2002 and here I am still pumping and grinding - and giving those young whippersnappers a hard time.
who cares. . .? hahahhaha eat the frickin' bacon AND ENJOY IT. LOL

That was Buscaglia's nick name, he was a prof in California and started teaching a class about love in the 70's. Did a lot of PBS (US Public TV) specials that were really inspirational, and he always referred to his Italian parents and culture. I often think about him and miss those specials. I do have a couple of his books, including one about his father that I bought for the flight to see my dad after his stroke.
Check him out Justin if you ever see one of his books.
