What brought this on? If you are referring to Boehner, the picture was taken at a reception for black Marine veterans, and has no connection to any of the big political issues of the day. Apparently it was a chance photo that makes him look like he just ate a lemon, but I guess the liberal press will publish anything to make a Republican leader look bad. Can't we move these discussions to a more substantive level?
I am quite aware where this photo was taken! thank you.It is a fitting commentary about his performance this YEAR!Laugh a little, J, it is good for the "humors". . . .;-)
I thought you liked the sharks Justin...
Dear Justin and JDON'T eat candy from political party mascots! Do I really have to type it till I'm blue in the face? (shakes head in exasperation) ;-)
Oh I do like the Sharks. . .just thought they might be an assist to get the lead outta his blooming arse and earn his livelihood.
J's comment reminds me of the way some religious people get upset about blasphemy.I heard some interesting comments about the difference between the American and Australia psyches. Ask an American how he's doing and he'll say, "Great! Couldn't be better!" Ask an Aussie and he'll say, "Not bad." Hehe. Many Americans believe in the self-made man, and that successful individuals shouldn't be told by government how to live their lives or be taxed to pay for those less "successful". Most Aussies believe in "a fair go" for everybody.America didn't become the world's richest and most powerful country because of its benevolence ya know.
YEPPER. . .U.S. benevolence. . .if there is something in it for US !!!
Gary's comment brings Donald Trump to mind. Trump's ego has outgrown the island of Manhattan and he's an unashamed blowhard. I can't believe the Republicans embrace him. He's part of the GOP's image problem.
