I Approve This Statement. . . ;-)

Good to see that those words were delivered as a statement rather than as a question.

Not really. Note the use of the words 'if' and 'surely'.

In my view, a statement would have read: God is love. Therefore, God is gay love too.

So, Gary, is this YOUR statement now? ;-))

Agreed Gary, but at least it was not totally negative like far too many are.
That SHOULD have been his statement...and everyone else's too. Unambiguous.

Gary and Greg. . .I read fellow USA-er and New Englander Bishop Robinson's statement as being very positive. . .may I say how I understood his words and grammar?

"If God is love as we are told by Scripture. . ..(IF we believe that)then it only follows that God is gay love also.

There is nothing negative about the meaning of Bp Robinson's original statement. Maybe the "If.." gives you the impression of negativity. ;-)

Rejoice in positive love. ;-))

Er, no JustinO. My sentiment but not my statement.

I figure love is love. Period.

Me too. . .I also. . LOL We are all saying the same thing. . .the same as Bp Robinson in the beginning. . .except some ones got hung up on his usage of the "I -word"..*IF*. . .
