ON THE BEACH. . . . .SUR LA PLAGE

So I drove home to the Cape early enough in the day to be home well before supper time I'd have time to connect with Peter. We ended up having supper with his family. Food is always excellent, prices are just right. . .LOL . .company always interesting and fun, and nicest of all, I always feel right at home.

After supper and doing the dishes. . . .Mama likes that. ;-) we went downtown to
look around, check things out, look for friends. . . but mostly to just walk and be together.

Late morning on Saturday with magnificent weather we got a few things together and headed out thru the Enchanted Forrest to Herring Cove Beach. When we check in with the National Seacoast officials we make a left turn and head to the Gay side of the beach and parked. Gathered our stuff we headed toward the beach. First part is where the Ladies gather, with all their equipment, volley ball nets and balls. . . . .they really got balls. . . and more and more there are baby strollers and toddlers camping out. So we walk thru the Lesbian Compound and head further down the beach to "where The Boys are". . .hehe.. . with balls but not nets and bats.

Peter and I found a mutually agreable spot to park our stuff and our bods.. . .

Peter tend to get into beach arts and crafts. . .hehe

" I see you. . . . .I love you. . . ."

This is where we spent the afternoon, just hanging out, taking in the views. . . . talking, zzzzzzz-ing too. . . .with too much stuff as usual. One would think we planned to pitch our tent and set up housekeeping. . . .LOL

We don't bother going all the way down the beach to the locale of the nude kingdom. . . .much too far to walk for no good reason. . ."see one ya seem 'em all". . . .ho ho ho. Look way down the beach as far as you can see, it is still beyond that point.

It felt soo good to be home, at the beach with Peter, just hanging out with the warm sunshine on our skin. . . .

That evening we had supper with Mom and Dad O'Shea. . .everything tasted so good after the day at the beach. We talked a long time over our meal about all the "matters of consequence" in our lives. It was just so nice and comfy we decided not to go out but spend the evening at home.

For awhile we sat out on the porch. . ..still warm enough to be out there. I told Peter some of the old tales that big porch could tell. . . .how I used to race my trike on that big almost wrap around porch. . . .and lots of other times, people and events.

Felt nice to have a couple windows open over night. . . like it was "almost summer" . We could hear the waves lapping onto the beach down below the house. . . .Nice way to fell asleep. . . .

And that's the way it is! ;-)

This has been an unseasonably nice weekend for all of us in the northeast. Looks like you made the best of it.
We're all jealous now.
