SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME

One of my friends suggested that Peter and I ought to listen, together, to Ella Fitzgerald singing Gershwin's "Someone To Watch Over Me". I want to share this classic with all of you romantics. . . . .non-romantice are welcome to listen too. LOL

You are both so tan already this year. Lucky. We don't tan here, just rust in the Northwest.

Yeah Justin, I wuz thinking it must have been someone in a boat cos there seemed to be only two piles of clothes and towels on the bach, ha! Good one!

I've made it a 'thing' of mine to skinny dip in as many outback (central Australian) rivers as I can.

The vast majority of rivers between me and the centre of this vast land are not permanent rivers, in fact most of 'em you'd not even call seasonal...ha!

But when the rains do come it is amazing how the birds and other wildlife flock to them and take advantage to feed and breed. It is usually a cacophany of life at those times, simply amazing.

So when they do flow I take the opportunity cos there might not be water in them again for a few years.

Yep, skinny is good. Somehow the absence of that little bit of clothing makes it much tastier and enjoyable ..... strange things us humans.
