6th Grader Sings Lady Gaga on Ellen – Greyson Chance Gets Record Contract

6th Grader Sings Lady Gaga on Ellen - Greyson Chance Gets Record ContractA few days ago, we brought you a story about Greyson Chance, a 6th grader that sings Lady Gaga.

The “Sixth Grader Sings Lady Gaga” video was made famous after Greyson Chance appeared on the Ellen show. His video quickly jumped to the most popular list on YouTube, and he was an overnight success in the Internet World.

The Internet World, however, does not always equate to anything more than lots of play time on YouTube. For Greyson Chance, it will.

Immediately after his “6th Grader Sings Lady Gaga” video became popular, Interscope Records signed the 12 year old to a record deal. The record label reportedly approached Greyson Chance, and signed him before any other labels had a chance.

If you haven’t seen the video, you can see it here en blog: Scroll down the blog page.

Interscope is one of David Geffen's corporations. I hope this kid had an experienced agent/entertainment lawyer go over the contract before he and his guardians signed it.
