House Votes to Permit Repeal of Ban on Gays in Military
The House voted to let the Defense Department repeal the ban

Justin, This is not really a repeal. It's a compromise and it may NEVER happen. We are hoping it will but we wont know till sometime in December of this year.
For the life of me I can't understand why people are so hung up on sexuality. The most sensible thing anyone has ever said to me about the subject was said by a woman I know in Ohio. When she commented on sexuality in general, and certain aspects of sex in particular, she said, "It's only sex."
Yeah, it's only sex. Why the hell does everyone get so uptight about it?
IT'S ONLY SEX.
Repeat that line 1000 times.
IT'S ONLY SEX.
Not sure if this is appropriate but I was moved by an image I saw recently that showed a soldier weeping on the shoulder of his comrade. So I searched the net and put a collection of images to Beethoven's Fur Elise.

Ooooh damn! That is a tough one! It gave me a pain in the gut and made me cry!
Is that feminine? My 'feminine side' coming OUT? Who says "real" men don't cry? Show me one who doesn't and I'll show you a repressed guy. . . .seriously repressed.
Besides, who cares? It's me! War crap makes me feel ill and so sad. Being able to share the human angst deepens our humanity. . . just as JOY makes the world a happier place, starting right in my own skin!

And here's the paradox... if the whole world cried more, it would be a happier place.
Nicely put you guys! Yeah, let's all start crying our heads off!
