So work today was not as draggy as yesterday, tho' I did get a lot done. With help today here is the finished product, and one coat of color. . . the painters will finish it off in no time tomorrow.
Well I do not have to live in it. ;-)
Thanks for all your comments and observations. I look forward to seeing who posts and what you have to say. I am always open to reading your suggestions to improve the blog. Please feel free to post them en blog or email them to me privately.
SUPPER-time. . . .I am starved. . . . more later. . .that is a threat! ;)

A kid (now guy) who enjoys running in the rain in your birthday suit... that's something to which I can definitely relate!
Ya must've been VERY cute running down the street starkers, Justin!
You're obviously proud of your work, which is a good thing. We call it plastering in Oz. There's a local plasterer here who drives a truck with "Get Plastered" signpainted on the sides. Plastered can also mean drunk.
As to the wall color, looks okay to me. The thing about plain colored walls is that you can add splashes of color with your furnishings. Yeah? Kinda like the way businessmen wear bland blue and gray suits with colorful ties.
Looks like you did a good job, but low ceilings make me claustrophobic, and there's no crown molding. Let me guess...Is this a rental unit?
You got it, J.. . .seasonal rental. One of three rooms. . . oh yeah. . .crown molding. . . .right. ;-)
Gary. . .I enjoy doing a good job..as if it were my own. . .;-)
I'm sure you do an excellent job in your own room, Justino Doonaroonie.
As to low ceilings, I find ditching the stilletos in favor of flatties works well.
At least the room isn't white. White is for people with no personality. The beige is great for rentals and resale.
We used to go out after the rain and play in the flooded spots. While we were usually clothed, the water and mud seemed to blur the lines of nakedness. Maybe that's why I always wanted the neighbor boys to come out too.
I don't envy you your job Justin.....I know how messy and sticky it can be! Hey, if the psychologist path doesn't work out, you have something to fall back on!
As my grandfather used to tell me....'What is worth doing, is worth doing well.'
Judging by "thus far" I think the path of the 'street-wise shrink' could work out quite well.
As for a life career. . .yes, I could do drywall, hehe, but I'd prefer interior design. . .I like re-doing the messes peeps have made. . LOL
Justin and Stew:
Your stories inspired this proud dad to provide a link to my youngest son enjoying the sprinkler / slip n slide in HIS birthday suit along with the family pooch a few years ago! Posted to my blog some weeks back:
Enjoy!
Don't worry... it's "safe for work"
CUTE!
Thanks. You have a beautiful son. . take after his Mother?. . hahahaa
lucky. ;))
justin
Your parents have a beautiful son too, Justin. THEY're lucky...
So is Peter!... and a certain former Ptown high school senior on the track team ;)
