A friend sent me the link to this clip from America's Got Talent. How's this guy for hiding his light under a bushell? If you don't shed a tear of joy while watching this, I'll be very surprised.
This guy is a countertenor, which is a rare commodity in the classical music world. I think he should lose the goth haircut, makeup and accoutrements and concentrate on this true gift. He won't make it in rock any more than did Tiny Tim in pop music.
J, I don't really think he is a countertenor; he just has a pretty good falsetto.
He reminds me of when I tried out for chorus in the 9th grade (age 15). By that time my bass voice had already developed; but when the female instructor sang a line and asked me to sing it for her I was able to do it in her range. She smiled and said, "OK, now try it an octave lower". :)
I watched Andrew on Tuesday Nite, and can't believe how anyone could hide his talent. He can only be better as he keeps on going thru life. It wsa a real blessing to see him, no matter what he looked like. He must been alone with his goth looks, and maybe went thru a lot of bulling. How we preceive one walking in their own shoes. He is more humble than Humble.

Never judge a book by it's cover

Thanks Justin for posting this. We watched last week as he sang. It was a very pleasant surprise. Looks are so always deceiving.
