I hear ya. . .do you have some one to dance in the rain with. . . . .I hope you do. . I find it makes the whole thing easier when there are two to share it. . . .are you looking? ;-))
Nah, Justin, i'm on my own now. My better days have passed me by. And lately my thoughts are full from dealing with my stormy day-to-day frustrations. The only 'looking' i'm doing is an occasional gawk.
"Better days have passed me by"???? Really? Are you sure that happens? Every day is a NEW day, a fresh beginning, another start...so I think. Each day is different, right? I learn from yesterday. . .and, having made a few adjustments, I start out new, again. . and I determine HOW it is going to go, once I've made the shift suggested by what I learned yesterday. Acceptance of reality is one thing. . . ..surrender is quite another. . Hmmm, I may have messed up. . .I may have failed miserably but I don't have to live there the rest of my life. . ..do I? Naaaaw, I don't!. . .nor do YOU, btw. . .hehe
Well, Jimmy Jimm Jimm, my mother had the infuriating habit of leaping out of her chair (before remote controls) and switching TV channels before the show was over (during the final ad break). She drove me nutz! I wanted to see the bit at the end where Perry Mason made his closing remarks. "It's over," my mother always insisted, to which I'd reply, "No, it's not!"
Anyway, I thought my best days were over too, and then Cody came along. It's his birthday today, by the way. JustinO knows Cody as Kyle in Green Room.
None of us knows what tomorrow will bring. For me, I've caught the movie bug. On July 9 I have to go to Sydney to see the specialist about my operation's progress. I'll have 6 hours of free time before the appointment, so I'll wander around town and shoot a bunch of footage of Sydney. When I return to Taree I'll put it all together to make a movie about my old home town so y'all can shower me with compliments hehe.
But the thing is, Jimmy Jimm Jimm, you should never switch channels before the show's over.
WISDOM! Listen up! YESSSSSS, Gary-O. . .great advice. Ya hearin that, Jimmy Jimm Jimm ? ho ho ho. Ya never know what's across the bridge in Irondequoit. . .so be sure to gawk good like!
