I recognize this! I agree, Isn't this a great flower. I came across more today in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia.....will put them up on a blog soon. Did you know there are pink ones?
Pink ones? Be careful... they probably attract gay bees.
Well. . . . .they are QUEENS after all.I've never seen pink ones. . .natural.We use to use food coloring in the water to change their color. . .pink, blue, green. . . .light shades.
I assume this is a variety of Queen Anne's Lace. I always thought of it as a weed until I saw a dramatic arrangement of it.
It's absolutely beautiful, Jabacue. Justin, the photos you post tend to be very, very beautiful... For a variety of reasons ;-) There seems to always be something special in The Dunes.
