Hope this comes thru to you Justin............... 1

The mother of a gay teen, who gained national attention after he
posted a tearful video about being bullied, said she and her
14-year-old son are grateful for the outpouring of support.

"There are a lot of people that are giving their warm wishes and
uplifting Jonah, and I think that's good," Peggy Sue Mowry told ABC
News on Tuesday, adding, "I am proud of the responses we've gotten
from people."

Jonah's video, titled "Whats goin on....," has gone viral since it was
first uploaded in August, gaining more than 5 million views and
support from celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Jane Lynch and Zooey
Deschanel.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the video, Jonah is seen in a dark room holding up flash cards with
words and phrases, such as "Suicide was an option many times," "I get
bullied everyday" and "I am tired of being torn down." The video was
taped at 4 a.m. before Jonah had headed off to school, according to a
post on YouTube.

The clip runs 4 minutes, 35 seconds, and at the end Jonah shares a
message of hope: "I'm not going anywhere, because I'm stronger than
that. I have a million reasons to be here."

A Facebook page dedicated to Jonah said, "We could all learn a good
lesson from this kid. Stay strong Jonah!"

On that page, Jonah also posted his gratitude to supporters.

"I looked thru the messages, and I am happy to see so many people
supporting this cause. THANK YOU! In the same time, I am shocked to
realize how much HATE is out there. How did we get here? How many
children has to die in order to see a change?" he posted on Monday.

On Tuesday, his post read: "Every child deserves to be happy...even at school."

I watched the video and found it impressive. On the other hand, some people have accused Jonah of faking it. If he did, he's damn good at it. I think he has the potential to be a creative genius... which is not a bad reason to hang around for a while on this planet.

By his own admission, Jonah's "performance" was FAKE. He even did a blog section telling how he fooled peeps.
One clue to me something was not level: a sitz as serious as that and nothing done thru grade school. . ? No no no. . . Sheer neglect, full-blown ignorance, or attention getter par excellence.

Talented, as Gary suggests. . .Jonah needs a good "spanking". . .lol

Don't negate yourself... negatives do no good.
It was awful. . .and plausible. . . the boy was/is clever. . .emotionally needy. . . .oh yes, very needy.

And in some places attitudes toward gays are so backward. . . but it is difficult to imagine no one in the boy's family, in his school especially would refuse to help.

And we gays are so sensitive to things like this, we have big and soft hearts. . . we don't want any one to suffer.

Shame on him. . . NOT on us for feeling for him.
