I was just looking at JIM's blog Ocean Breezes and the photos of the various colours in the tumblers, drinking glasses lined up on a glass shelf in his kitchen window. Nice. It made me think of being in NotreDameCathedral in Paris of a Summer Sunday morning with the sunlight shining thru the huge rose window . . .shimmering various hues of reds and blues onto the floors and walls. . . awesome.
SO I want to show you something beautiful I've added to my room chez Mme Bouvier. . . . I can just sit and look. . .take in the light and color. . . .

Like the beauty of the orchids one's abilities, etc, are only slowly revealed. . .organically, as it were. . LOL
A little plant life and color in the cold winter can give us quite a boost.
wag wag back at cha Justin..wink wink!
Looks like Ikebana......Japanese flower arranging. Very peaceful and simple....yet complete.
Hey, I see another career in the making!!
A bewdiful thing, Mr O. Very elegant.
When I first arrived in this town, the Salvation Army ladies used to call me the "Vase Man" because I spent so much time in the Op Shop looking for nice pieces.
It's more like the beauty of the rose whose guard petals have been pulled back.
Oh... are you talking about the orchid or the vase?
Mr Kelly,
Talk about (mis)understandings!
I found myself wondering about what you were referring to when you said:
"I spent so much time in the Op Shop looking for nice pieces"
No wonder you're perhaps unattached, an op-shop aint the place to pick up tasty "pieces" I woulda thought (shudder)

Vases are my scene these days, Greg. I can stick things in them without worrying about the consequences.
Lol
