I was out at Old Bar Beach today hoping to get shots of kite surfers but there weren't any. However I did manage a pretty good shot of an Aussie with a similar laugh to yours. Ha ha ha ha ho ho ho ho ho, chuckle, chuckle.

    Thanks to Jim for leaving a comment on my Red Bubble post of the kookaburra. He says it looks like the American kingfisher. The birds are related, but the kookaburra doesn't eat fish. It dines on lizards, frogs, worms, meeces and stuff like that... as well as handouts from picnickers. And it has the most incredible and raucous laugh-like call. Ka-ka-ka-ka-ka-koo-koo-koo-koo-koo-chuckle-chuckle. The first European settlers here must've wondered what the hell it was when they sat bolt upright in their tents on the first morning. Hehe.

    It's almost spring here now so they'll be busy making lots of babies.
