  1. How nice was that, Justin!? Those guys can sure 'belt out' a tune. And the bagpipes really 'did it' for me! Can't hold back my Scottish/Irish ancestry I guess. Thanks for this.

  2. Ahaaaa!!!
So that's it! Scottish-Irish ancestry. I knew there was a reason I like you! LOL

Yeah, the bagpipes get me too. . I even get teary-eyed. . guess it's those pre-cognitive primal memories deep deep in our roots. Tho I don't know all those folk of yesteryear I feel for/with them about stuff. . . .

Have you heard the Canadian Tenors? They too are class-act. hehe cute too. . .oooooh what a wretch I am. .ho ho ho

  3. Yes, I like the Canadian Tenors as well. Wouldn't it be great to sing in a group? Ever done it?

  4. Yes, I've sung in a group. . . singing Broadway tunes, around the piano. . . late. . .at the Boat Slip. . on Commercial Street in Provincetown. . . .
    hahahaaa

Not the group you have in mind. Wouldn't it be a roll to sing in a quartet. . like these tenors! Imagine the thrill of a setting like that. . .WoooWeeeee. . .The figure of the kilted bagpiper standing high above, arches as background. What drahma! ;-)and sound! awesome

  5. The finest recorded version of Amazing Grace was rendered by Dr. Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys. The video ones on YouTube are pretty good, but not as good as the album version. As for tenors, I like them better when they're singing Nissun Dorma.

  6. For many years in the radio biz, my nickname was Grace (as in Grace Kelly) and I thought this song was about me. Hehe. How wrong I was.

Good thing I grabbed a box of tissues before I clicked on the link.

Great post, JustinO. Yeah, bagpipes do it for me too.

  7. Sorry, I am so late in writing, just am finishing restoring my
puters after 2 of them down for
    7 weeks.
    They were just overwhelming.
The guys were not too bad on the eyes.
Before this version, I thought that
verson by the Morman Tabernacle, was fantastic as well as Judy Collins. But these tenors are
    powerful. Thanks Justin.
